Only 2.3% of IFAs advertise themselves as 'fee-based' or 'fee-only' on their own websites, according to research by VouchedFor.co.uk.
The adviser review website suggested that increasingly as we approach RDR consumers will be searching online for compliant IFAs who do not work on commission, and that the majority of IFAs are excluding themselves from consideration by failing to label themselves online as fee-based.
