RDR - Important Adviser Information

Pointon York will continue with our commitment to support advisers throughout the changing environment of RDR, which took effect as from 31 December 2012.

Our SIPPs have historically been set up to pay adviser fees based on a Fee Agreement signed by you and your client; this has not changed, however, to reflect the new regime introduced by RDR we have made a few changes to our customer documentation:

Next steps for you to take

To formalise the requirements of RDR in our agreements with you, we have amended our Adviser Terms of Business Agreement (TOBA) to reflect the FSA's new requirements for Adviser Charging. This document is available for you to view and download if required from our website.

• New Advisers (Advisers who have not previously signed a TOBA with us)

In order for us to accept New Business from you and 　pay any fees we will require you to complete and sign a new TOBA and return it to us.

• Existing Advisers

No action will need to be taken; however, you do need to be aware that any new business that you submit from 31 December 2012 is governed by the new TOBA.

Step 1 - Register

In order to access our online portal, you will need to register with us. Simply complete, sign and return the Terms of Business (please ensure the above notification has been followed first). You can return your signed application to us via email or by post - please find our address at the footer of this page.

Step 2 - Logging In

Once we have received your completed, and signed, Terms of Business, we will email you with details of your unique login name and password.
